Jackie Agner Community Service Award
The Jackie Agner Community Service Award was created in honor and memory of former Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund Secretary/Treasurer and IAM Hall of Honoree, Jackie Agner. Ms. Agner was a key member and volunteer leader of the International Association of Movers (IAM) serving on the IAM Executive Committee in various roles over 18 years. She was truly an industry pioneer and leader (a complete list of her achievements can be found on Ms. Agner’s Hall of Honor page.) Notwithstanding her career accomplishments, Ms. Agner was a devoted wife and mother, a supportive friend, and a mentor to countless IAM Members and individuals within her local community.

This scholarship commemorates Jackie’s generous spirit and commitment to volunteer service throughout her lifetime.
Each year applicants for the Wohlstetter Academic Awards will have the option to be considered for the Jackie Agner Community Service Award. The winner of this scholarship will have demonstrated the same attributes that Jackie exemplified in her charitable and philanthropic efforts. Namely, qualified applicants will have demonstrated significant involvement with their school and/or community through volunteer service and charity work. If selected, the recipient would receive an extra $2,500 in addition to the $5,000 awarded for the Wohlstetter Academic Award.
To be eligible for the Jackie Agner Community Service Award, applicants must submit additional documentation to highlight and verify specifics relative to their community service and charitable efforts. Only recipients of the Wohlstetter Academic Award will be eligible to receive this additional award.
